Fighters for Indian Navy

Project 75I Submarines

Project 75I, under which India plans to acquire six diesel-electric submarine equipped with AIP for increased endurance and survivability and will be capable of launching BrahMos cruise missile under Strategic partnership. In January 2020, the Ministry of Defence had shortlisted two Indian shipyards and five foreign submarine manufacturers for the project.

Tejas Mark-1A

In March 20, the Ministry of Defence had cleared the purchase of 83 Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas in the Mk1A configuration. Deal is yet to be signed. HAL plans to manufacture about16 LCA fighters per year.

Helicopter Programs
