Israeli defence firm Smart Shooter is looking to set up a manufacturing plant in India. Recently, the company bagged an order from Indian navy for unspecified number of ‘SMASH-2000 Plus’ systems. Besides, this order the company is eyeing more contracts with currently the Indian Army and the Border Security Force is evaluating it for anti-drone operations. For future contracts, the firm has tied up with an Indian company, Defsys. The company has claimed to have no issue in transferring the entire intellectual property and technological know-how of its system to India, if required.
