Imperial Eagle and Rustom-1 successfully flight-tested

Indigenously made 2 kg class Mini Unmanned Air Vehicle (MUAV), Imperial Eagle has successfully conducted the flight trials. The MUAV flew successfully in divergent weather conditions under full autonomous control thereby demonstrating its robust capabilities to fly under harsh weather conditions. It demonstrated its operational range and endurance by flying at an altitude of more than 300 m and autonomously covering a range of around 7 km from the airfield in low cloudy conditions capturing videos of interesting waypoints. Also the joint team of ADE and National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) recently conducted the successful endurance flight of Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) Rustom-1.
