India to buys missile warning systems from US

The US Company Alliant Techsystems will supply India, a missile approach warning system to help military aircraft in deploying counter-measures when an enemy missile is fired upon. India is purchasing the system for Air Force and Navy using the foreign military sales route, which is expected to come by 2017. The AN/AAR-47 (V) missile warning set comprises of electro-optic counter-measure sensors, counter-measure signal processors and counter-measure signal simulators.
