In recent years Manroy has increasingly focused on the export market and diversification of its customer base into new territories. Their product technology can be broadly grouped under Small Arms. Originally formed in 1975 to support the weapon spares requirements of the British Army; however after some time it had started producing Heavy Machine Guns (HMGs) and at the same time began developing a very important aspect of small arms system i.e. the Quick Change Barrel (QCB) System. Manroy Engineering 7.62mm General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG)
The Manroy 7.62mm General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG) is designed as a multi-role versatile weapon. The gun is a fully automatic, air-cooled, belt fed weapon. After the first round has been loaded and charged by the operator, the action is cycled by gas pressure from the propellant gas. The cyclic rate of fire is variable to allow for differing environmental and operational conditions and is controlled by an adjustable gas regulator.

Manroy Engineering ME16 Assault Rifle
The ME 165.56mm rifle is a light weight, air-cooled, gas-operated, magazine-fed, shoulder or hip-fired weapon designed for the automatic fire or semiautomatic fire (single shot) through the use of a selector lever. The weapon has a fully adjustable rear sight. TheME16 rifle is the standard by which all military rifles of the future will be judged. This variant of the M16 fires either automatic fire or semiautomatic fire (single shot) through the use of a selector lever.
Manroy Engineering ME4 Assault Rifle
The ME4 is a light weight, air-cooled, gas-operated, magazine-fed, shoulder-fired carbine designed for semiautomatic fire and feeds from a detachable box magazine.
They are the key supplier to UK MoD for last 26 years, and today they are a supplier to the global defense industry with extensive experience in the production of machine guns, mounts and ancillary products. Manroy PLC group of companies provide solutions for weapon design, production and mounting requirements for Infantry, AFV, and Naval platforms and it offers a full range of high performance tactical weapons from 7.62mm, .338” to .50”. It manufactures the .50” M2HB machine gun with Quick Change Barrel, the 7.62mm GPMG, tools, gauges and also provides a full and comprehensive spares service along with the associated training for both weapons. It also designs and manufactures Protected Weapon Station (PWS), one man turrets and weapon mounts.
As a result of providing an excellent service to the customer, MANROY has recently been awarded a further €2.1m (£1.8m) contract from its new European Government customer, in addition to the €1.7m (£1.4m) contract from the same customer which was announced on 5 September 2013.
