Indian Armed Forces to get first lot of ATVs by year-end

Tata Motors is most likely to deliver the first lot of terrain defence vehicles (approximately 40 units) by end of this year. The contract worth Rs 900 Crores for over 1,200 All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) for the Indian Armed Forces is to be delivered over the next two years. The 6x6 heavy mobility all-terrain heavy mobility vehicles are fitted with material handling cranes for loading and unloading of stores, weapons, ammunition and others.
