Indian Cabinet Committee on Security has cleared the proposal for Indian Air Force's Integrated Air Command and Control System (IACCS). The proposal is expected to be worth Rs. 8,000 crores and will be set up and integrated with the existing ground and air sensors and air defence systems. The network, a mix of surveillance platforms, integrates the ability to use data and images in real time across many battlefields. At the heart of this will be the pan-India integrated air command, control and communications system (IACCCS).
