Govt to help Indian MSMEs to compete globally

Indian Government has decided to carry out hand-holding exercise for over 4,000 Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) enterprises to boost the “Make in India” initiative and making them to compete globally in defence sector. The idea is to implement zero-effect and zero-defect (ZED) excellence system in the Indian MSMEs sector. With India looking for indigenous manufacturing and buying of defence weaponries worth $150 Billion in next 10 years, there seems to be lucrative opportunities especially in supplying of components, assembles and sub-assemblies segment for the MSMSs to tap upon
