Indian Navy’s second Aircraft Carrier

Indian Navymost likely to approach government for second indigenous aircraft carrier. Currently it has only one aircraft carrier, INS Vikramaditya, with INS Viraat retired on March 6 this year.  India at any time requires three aircraft carriers, one each on the east and west coast and the third one as a replacement for any of the ships that go for refit.The second indigenous aircraft carrier is likely to be nuclear-propelled and Govt has already allotted Rs 30 Crores for project planning.
