Niti Aayog on Capital Expenditure

Government think-tank Niti Aayog has submitted a document to the Govt on action agenda during 2017-18 to 2019-20 for resource allocation on purchase of defence equipment. It has sought increased allocation of Rs 1,72,000 crore by 2019-20 for  Defence Capital expenditure, an increase  of  around Rs 95,000 crore from in 2015-16.
