US New Policy on Export of Drones

India could now plan to acquire Killer Drones from the United States, as the US administration’s new policy on the export of Unmanned Aerial Systems, has allowed the use of drones to fulfil "'counter-terrorism objectives". The US firm General Atomics has already been in talks with the Indian Navy for sale of 22 Predator B 'Sea Guardian' drones for maritime reconnaissance operations over the Indian Ocean.
